1.1. AIM OF THE STUDY: The aim of this study is to get information, to understand and analyze the old stone houses in Eski Foça with the manner of their original period. And to contribute the future works that aims to heal and preserve the traditional houses’ textures. 1.2. METHOD OF THE STUDY: Method of the study is descriptive analysis. We went to the chosen area twice. We talked with the local people and an expert restorator. We walked around the streets. We visited several houses. In these houses, we photographed both exteriors and the interiors. We measured the interior elements, such as wall widths, ceiling heights, windows etc. We analyzed the materials. Also, we took advantage of the prior thesis’ and articles.
1.3. SCOPE OF THE STUDY: Focal point of this study is the 2 storey, stone houses that belongs to 19th century, originally built by Greek owners. And the study area was limited by Eski Foça’s Küçük Deniz district.
